The LPIC-1 (Linux Professional Institute Certificate 1) consists of two parts: LPIC-1 101 and LPIC-1 102. Each part requires a separate exam. Further details about the exams and their costs can be found on the LPI official website.
The LPI certification website provides a comprehensive guide for preparation. Refer to the LPIC-1 101 preparation guide and the LPIC-1 102 preparation guide.
In my opinion, the guide provided by LPI can be challenging for beginners. It starts directly with hardware configuration (such as BIOS settings), which may seem off-topic and difficult for software developers like myself. I have rarely dealt with BIOS settings in my career. The only thing I recall is selecting the correct hard drive or USB drive to install an operating system (such as Windows or Ubuntu). Beyond that, I have not interacted with BIOS settings. As a Mac user for the past 12 years, I have not accessed BIOS during this time.
Therefore, I found a guy on YouTube (Jadi) who explains the same content in a great way. Here is the link to his videos. He has also written his own notes, which I find easy to understand.
My approach for preparation of exam will be to:
Watch Jadi videos
Read his notes
Read LPI guide
Get some practice exams
Other Resources which I found really good
